BAAB fosters excellence in the visual arts through exhibitions and educational programmes that serve as catalysts for the future of Bahrain and Arab Art. Our mission is to promote cross-cultural dialogue and enable artists to better understand the time in which they live professionally. It will also serve to introduce art collectors and enthusiasts across the world to the talents and vision of Bahrain’s artists. BAAB INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 2016 Organised by Art and Spice with association with Tamkeen and Art Select, an exhibition of works by the selected artists will be held annually in one of the major cities in Europe – this year BAAB will take place at the end of May at the heart of the art world in London. The BAAB 2016 International Exhibition is one of the most important open submission exhibitions in Europe for Bahraini visual artists. The exhibition will allow fifteen artists living and working in the Kingdom to participate in a major international project, providing the first significant platform for many emerging artists, while also presenting important new pieces by more established figures.
